AS101 Wunder Wall
yangyang | Uncategorized | 03 26th, 2009| No Comments »

This year’s Wunder Wall of Building Technology 101 has come around! The brief is simple; use MDF blocks of 20mm x 10mm in size to construct a wall project that best demonstrates masonry construction. Of course, more opening means more marks to come.

Note: Images taken from facebook, anyone who wanted to contribute photos (pick up nice one please), don’t hesitate to send it up to me at blog@yangsquare.com

The courtyard is filled with glimpses of other students wondering what architecture students are up to. Spotted in limelight is Ms Ummi, the judge lecturer for Wunder Wall.

Egglympics!
yangyang | Uncategorized | 03 4th, 2009| 1 Comment »

As an ice-breaking event, fresh architecture students were assigned to design a flying vessel to fly the furthest and of course, containing the egg safely. The event was overwhelmed with students and lecturers from the Architecture Science stream with the refreshments sponsored by FABESAA.

Students were attempting a final fix to the aircraft and meticulously loading the passenger ‘egg’.

Lecturers examining the flying vessels before the launch.

The launch! What a shock when a group attempted a reverse flight!

Some enthralled observers!
